Importing data from previous version of Act Payroll

Upgrading from previous version of Act Payroll

 

Initial setup :

 

 1 – Click Connect DB

 

 

 

2 – Choose File and Click Open

 

 

3 – Click Import Company Data

 

This will import default company information for 2016

 

4 – Click Import Employee data

This will import all the staff information from 2016.

 

5 – Import Allowance and Deduction Codes

This will import Allowance and Deduction Codes that you added in 2016. It will only import codes that have Descriptions that are different from those that are already in the current database. You will have to add the missing Allowances again.
